Our story
The Fabulous Five
January 28, 2012 was the dawn of the inaugural ME STRONG 5K. Nearly 1,000 community members flooded the streets of beautiful Historic DeLand, Florida. The ME STRONG 5k originated with the dream of bringing hope and happiness during a time that is often considered dark and frightening.
Since that wonderful day, ME STRONG has grown into a 501c3 charity with a mission to support friends, families, and community members battling cancer. Each year, the annual 5k raises money to support our community members and their families in the fight against cancer.
